graphics on vinyl banner Why do graphics matter when making vinyl banners?

Many vinyl banner layouts containing complex designs, multiple colors, color gradients, or intricate logos that cannot be produced using vinyl cutting equipment. Digital 4-color printed banners are required when these intricate colors or graphics prohibit vinyl lettering. If on the other hand, your banner will contain lettering only (no graphics, , logos, or color gradients) and this lettering is created using vector based programs, we would suggest that your banner be produced by using computer cut vinyl lettering. The vinyl lettered banner is usually less expensive than digitally printed banners, and is very durable.

artwork needed for vinyl banner Can you use my artwork for banner making?

Yes, In most cases we can use your artwork for making vinyl banner. Although the file requirements for banner making vary depending on the type of banner you select. If your banner consists of photographic images, or complex shapes you will need to provide vector based artwork or high resolution raster image of your artwork (jpg, tif, wmf, ai, eps). In this case the banner would be digitally printed using large format banner printers. However, if your banner consists of spot colors of lettering only or very simple solid color graphics, we could possibly produce your vinyl banner using computer cut vinyl lettering. In the case of vinyl cut banners we would require your artwork to be in a vector graphics file (ai, vector eps).

Artwork requirements for vinyl banners or digitally printed banners can get complicated. When you are unsure of what type of artwork you need to send to us, just give us a call.
